Become a Friend of the Library
About the FOL
The College of Charleston Friends of the Library supports and advances the work of the Marlene and Nathan Addlestone Library, Avery Research Center for African American History and Culture, Rivers Communication Museum, Lowcountry Graduate Center Library, and Marine Resources Library. Your membership supports the resources, people, and facilities that are essential to both preparing students for academic achievement and building a dynamic learning environment for our community. Your dollars also support the strategic acquisition and digitization of rare and essential materials that preserve the culture and history of the region.
Flexible, unrestricted dollars have never been more important. They allow the library to respond quickly and decisively to meet ever-changing needs. Gifts to the Friends of the Library also support lively, thought-provoking dialogues on issues of the day. These opportunities for lifelong learning strengthen our campus and the Charleston community. Our annual schedule of events connects the library to world-class partners within the College of Charleston, and to people from across the Lowcountry and beyond.
